What customers say?

“ The staff was very welcoming from the beginning. As a tourist I unfortunately was not able to read the menue or talk Japanese but the waitress and the cook were very patient and helpful. The cook prepared me a plate of various dishes which tasted awesome. Everything was freshly prepared in front of me. All around I've had a very pleasant time. Thank you very much :) ”

“ It's a fairly expensive Japanese restaurant in Sendai that offers ala carte dishes, but the food is delicious and the atmosphere is great, so it's definitely worth it. I think it would hold its own in Tokyo. ”

“ I had only reserved a seat online the day before, not a course meal, but was relieved to be welcomed so comfortably. Despite this, I was able to watch the chefs at work from my counter seat, and the interior design and ambiance were very nice. The dishes were also explained to me carefully, and the suggestions they made when an item I wanted was out of stock were also great. Even the light appetizers were elaborately prepared, and the smoked daikon daikon cheese dish was stylishly presented. Since we were in Sendai, we also tried a variety of beef tongue dishes and had the signature Beef Tsungae Tataki. Although it was called tataki, I had an image of it being covered in green onions...but it was completely different from what I had imagined. It had a high-quality, elegant feel. I also had tempura and sashimi, and the dexterity and knife work were impressive, and they even provided two types of soy sauce. It was very elegant, and the way it was presented, the ingredients, the flavors...to put it mildly, it was an absolutely wonderful experience. I actually wanted to order a final dish, but I was full. I would recommend it. Thank you for the meal. ”

“ Seeing Bandes made me want to go there. Even the lunch was luxurious and satisfying. The deep-fried tilefish (?) with scales was delicious. ”

“ I've only eaten at the restaurant once, but this was my third time ordering osechi. The price went up from the usual 10,000 yen to 20,000 yen, so I thought I'd skip it this year, but I was so glad I did! The containers are the same size, but the contents have definitely been upgraded. I don't understand the depth of flavor or anything complicated, but everything is delicious! Even if I had ordered elsewhere, I'm sure I would have come back again because I couldn't forget the taste. The boss, who looks tough at first glance, remembers me after just one meeting, and he's a kind man with a charming, bucktoothed smile. Thank you for the meal. I ordered a catered lunch and enjoyed it with everyone at work! The moment I opened the lunch box, I could tell that each step was meticulous and the food was made with care. As I looked at the menu, I was excited to decide what to eat first. I couldn't help but smile. It was so delicious that I almost didn't want to swallow it. It was an extraordinary experience in my break from work, and it helped me get more done at work afterwards! I would like to order again ”

“ I visited for lunch on a weekday. I thought it would be expensive at night, so I wouldn't go alone, but the lunch menu was out, so I decided to go in. We went as a group of two, but the counter, which could seat about six, was full, so we went to the back. In the back, there was a room where you had to take off your shoes, but there were four tables for four. There was no one else there, but the food was kept warm by the stove. Since I had come all the way, I ordered the tempura set meal, I think it was 1,800 yen. The restaurant has an impressive layout, so even the tea that was served first was delicious. It was good green tea. Salad, chawanmushi, and pickles were served first. They didn't all arrive on a tray, but in order. Each dish was carefully made, and it was delicious. The chawanmushi was definitely better than I expected. There was a bit of a long wait after that, but the square bento box arrived. For a moment I thought it might be a tempura bowl, but it was a rice container. There's something interesting about it being all rice. After that, the main dish, tempura, finally arrived. It came with salt, sudachi citrus juice, and tempura sauce, so you can enjoy it however you like. Yep, it's delicious. I have no complaints about the taste. As I continued eating, the vegetable tempura and tempura bowl sauce were finally brought out. It was so delicious that even though I ordered a large portion of rice, quite a bit of it was gone, but I guess they made it like a tempura bowl so you can have it at the end? Since I had the chance, I put the tempura on top of the little bit of rice I had left and shoveled down the sauce-flavored rice. It was delicious. It was like a course meal, so I enjoyed it, but it was a little dangerous as I was worried I would end up eating beyond lunchtime. If you don't come early and when it's not busy, it might be dangerous for office workers who have just left for lunch. I didn't know what was coming when I first saw it, so I paced my meal poorly. But it was delicious, so it seems they have other menu items, like noodles, so I'd like to try them. There's a counter, so it seems easy to use even if you're alone. ”

“ This beautiful restaurant just opened. We ate at the counter. The food, presented on beautiful plates, was a feast for the eyes. Everything was delicious, from thickly sliced grilled tsunge (beef tongue) and Sendai beef nigiri to simmered yellowtail and grilled tilefish with scales. It was all so delicious that it brought a smile to my face. ”

“ I had lunch here the other day. The interior was very clean and had a calming atmosphere. The food was beautiful, first of all! And incredibly delicious. I've never liked chawanmushi since I was little, but this chawanmushi made me want to eat it again. But more than anything, the chef's facial expressions were completely different when he was holding his knife and when he was talking, and I personally loved the contrast. I was also very happy that they were happy to let me take photos. I'd like to go again with a friend next time, so I look forward to seeing you there. ”
